Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GovClara platform (“Service”), operated by Alhawaseeb Information Technology (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service
GovClara is a SaaS platform that helps organisations manage IT vendor contracts, service-level agreements, KPIs, and incidents. We provide the platform on a subscription basis. Features available to you depend on your chosen subscription plan.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@govclara.com of any unauthorised use.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Free Trial
New accounts on the Professional plan receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue accessing Professional features; your account reverts to the Starter plan limits if you do not subscribe.
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload or create within the Service (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited licence to host and process your Customer Data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell or share your Customer Data with third parties except as required to operate the Service (e.g. database hosting). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful purposes; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure; (c) reverse-engineer or copy any part of the Service; (d) upload malicious code or content; (e) resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
8. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily restricts access, and will give reasonable advance notice where possible. We are not liable for any losses arising from temporary unavailability.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Alhawaseeb Information Technology and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. You may export your data before termination; we will retain data for 30 days after termination before deletion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Qatar.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and by posting the updated Terms on this page at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
